About Us

The Catholic Journey Project is a lay organization and is grateful for the support and collaboration of those whose stewardship helps to bring our work to life. We have faith in those who join us in answering the call to serve God’s people.

We have faith that those who seek God, will find Him, when they seek with all their heart. We have faith that those who find God through Jesus Christ, will continuously seek greater relationship with Him throughout their lifelong journey. We have faith that those we serve desire the fullness of Christianity.

Mission, Vision, Values

Our Mission is to provide supportive leadership toward fulfilling and supportive Catholic teaching resources.

Our Vision is to provide guidance to those who seek a meaningful relationship with God in the light of the fullness of Christianity.

Our values are placed on helping those who are searching for the fullness of truth, wherever they may be on their journey.

We see the human dignity within every person, regardless of the state of their current relationship with God. We strive to understand the human condition, and all factors that affect each person’s current standing with God. We strive to meet people where they are at, as Christ did.

The Catholic Journey Project has contributions and support from devoted Catholics who live their faith in their daily lives in numerous ways.

Our faith experience includes vast parish involvement including RCIA/OCIA teaching, Alpha Leading/Facilitation, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist and Precious Blood, Lectors/Readers. We are also Retreat Leaders and Facilitators. We receive spiritual direction from several Catholic Priests, including Novus Ordo and TLM Celebrants.

Our secular experience includes business ownership and operation, school teaching, homeless shelter direction and leadership, information technology, computer programming, sales & marketing and various administration roles.

Our volunteer experience includes Knights of Columbus service, homeless shelter service, Rosary Apostolate in Schools Program and other miscellaneous parish roles.

Leadership

Robert McGrath
MAnaging Director

Responsible for overseeing the operational and organizational work that allows the mission of the Project to move forward in a practical and sustainable way.

I approach this work with the understanding that service to the Church also requires good stewardship of time, talent, and material resources. By combining experience in leadership, business, and ministry, my goal is to help create a stable foundation from which the Project can offer clear, faithful, and supportive Catholic resources to those who are searching for truth and a deeper relationship with God.
