For those near the beginning of their exploration journey. Thinking about Catholicism is about discovering the fullness of Christianity, and who you were made to be. Regardless of your background, it’s about letting God use your past experiences and present circumstances, and weaving them together into something beautiful. Catholicism connects you to a communion of historical and contemporary saints, to the Apostles, and to hundreds of millions of believers today who gather at the same table. beautiful.

Topics include the Mass, Church History, Apostolic Succession, Jesus's mother Mary, and what to do next. This is a primer for those open to His Spirit, including Catholics and non-Catholics.

Journal to Thinking About Catholicism

A companion journal to go with Thinking About Catholicism. It includes gentle self-reflection questions for each chapter for your journey. This can be used as a wonderful record to share with someone you trust, or keep in the quietness of your heart. It is your chapter-by-chapter record of your thoughts.

Your feelings, thoughts and answers may change over time, and that is okay. This journal can be a snapshot of where you are today.

The Fullness of Christianity

As you begin (or begin again) your journey of exploring the Catholic faith, know that you are not expected to have everything figured out. In fact, asking real, honest, deeply personal questions is one of the most sacred parts of the spiritual path. The questions that stir in your heart are not interruptions to faith; they are often how faith grows. Questions are not barriers to faith, they are pathways to it.

Wherever you are right now, whether curious, hesitant, wanting, wounded, hopeful, or uncertain, you are loved and welcome. Your questions are a way of opening a conversation between you and the One who has always loved you and is gently calling you closer.

You've been on the path your entire life, whether or not you knew where it lead. Have confidence as you take the next step on the journey.

For two thousand years, people from every corner of the world have

found in the Catholic Church a place where the broken-hearted are

healed, the restless find peace, and those seeking truth find a compass.
